Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission Deadline: March 20,2025  

Abstracts to be presented at the congress should be capable of contributing to scientific development and should give a concluding message. Since abstracts sent over the internet will be printed in the same way, attention should be paid to spelling errors. Authors are responsible for all spelling errors.

Submitting abstracts online via the congress website is the only valid method of submission. Papers sent via e-mail or post, regardless of the system, will not be accepted. 

Writing Rules

  1. Abstracts will be collected via the online abstract system.
  2. Academic titles should not be used in author names.
  3. Names should be written in lowercase letters, with only the first letter capitalized.
  4. The names of the institutions and departments where the authors work must be stated.
  5. Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized. (Abbreviations are exceptions.)
  6. If an abbreviation is used in the abstract, the full name of the abbreviation should be stated in parentheses.
  7. In the abstract, the purpose of the study and the methods used should be briefly stated, the findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail, and the conclusion should be explained within the framework of the findings presented.
  8. While the summary is loading; The fields specified in the system should be written without using a separate title.
  9. The entire abstract should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title name, author´s name and surname.
  10. Abstracts will be collected in Poster or Oral format, the subject category that best suits your abstract should be selected in the relevant step.
  11. Abstracts must be in text format and ONLY 1 table and 1 image can be included.
  12. Abstracts that do not comply with any of these articles will be excluded from evaluation, regardless of their content.

Abstract Evaluation

The evaluation will be made over the internet by the Paper Evaluation Committee, keeping the names/surnames and institutions of the researchers confidential. Each paper will be evaluated by at least 2 referees. The evaluation result will be sent to all presenters as a final letter.

PRESENTATIONS

Poster
Papers accepted as poster papers will be included in the Poster Papers section of the proceedings book to be published after the congress. In order for poster presentations to be presented and included in the congress book, one of the authors must have completed the congress registration.

Oral
Papers accepted as oral presentations can be prepared with any of the electronic presentation programs. The time allocated for each presentation will be stated in the acceptance letters. In order for oral presentations to be presented, the person specified as the presenter must have completed the congress registration. Papers not presented at the congress will not be published in the abstract book.

FULL PAPER PREPARATION RULES 

1. The papers presented at the congress can be accepted as full texts if requested. Full text submissions must be made through the Abstract Submission System on the congress web page. It is not mandatory for researchers to submit full texts.

2. The submitted full texts must not have been published or presented anywhere before. The full text plagiarism screening will be accepted as 20%. Texts with plagiarism above this level will not be accepted. The Plagiarism Screening Report must be uploaded to the system with the full text.

3. In order for the papers to be published as full texts, at least one of the researchers must have completed the congress registration process and the paper must have been presented at the congress.

4. The full text submission deadline is Friday, June 13, 2025, at 23:59. In the event that this date is postponed or brought forward, the relevant congress authorities will inform the participants.

5. In full text submissions; the author order must be as specified during the abstract submission to the congress abstract system. Every participant attending our congress is obliged to comply with this requirement. The participant(s) are responsible for any problems or disruptions that occur, and our congress management and organizers do not accept any liability.

6. If the study sent as a full text was produced from a project and supported by an institution, the project code/number and information about the project must be stated at the end of the text. The negativity arising from this deficiency belongs to the participant.

7. If the study sent as a full text was produced from a thesis; it must be stated that it was produced from the thesis and the name of the advisor, the name of the thesis and the institution must be stated in the study.

8. The full texts sent for the edition will be published as pdf on the congress web page in the Congress Book.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR FULL PAPER AUTHORS 

Abstract: Turkish and English abstracts should be included. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words. Abstracts of original studies should include the subheadings "Introduction-Purpose", "Material-Method", "Findings", "Conclusion" and "Keywords".

Title: Each word should be written in capital letters. There should be a maximum of 2 lines of headings.

Author Names: In author names, the first letter of the name should be capitalized and the rest should be in lower case, and the surname should be in all capital letters.

Text: Text paragraphs should be written in "Times New Roman" font. The font size should be 11 points in all paragraphs. Line spacing should be 1.5. There is no need to leave an indent at the beginning of the paragraphs. A half-line (6 pt) space should be left between the lines in the paragraphs. Paragraphs should be justified. No blank lines should be left between paragraphs.

Page Layout: Sections should be in A4 size, with 2.5 cm space left and right, top and bottom of the page.
Tables: The table title should be above the table. Table text should not be written in bold. The table number must be given and the table number must be written in the appropriate place in the text. Only the first letter of the first word of the table text must be capitalized. All other words must be written in lower case.

Figures: All figures must be centered on the page. The source must be cited. The figure/s must be numbered and the figure number must be written in the appropriate place in the text. Only the first letter of the first word of the figure name must be capitalized. All other words must be written in lower case.

Page Numbers: Page numbers must not be added.

References: Care must be taken to use the sources where they are cited. All references specified in the reference list must be cited at least once in the paper. Sources must be written and numbered in the order they are used. References must be written according to APA rules.

In-Text Source Citation
In the study conducted by Karahans et al., the positive effects of skin-to-skin contact at birth on breastfeeding are reported. (Karahan&Şimşek, 2017)
